These dyestuffs are selected, to suit the application of the dyes to the substrates mentioned above, from the various dyestuffs classes such as :

We give below the dye bath ph & dyeing auxiliaries for individual class of dyestuffs 1. Acid Dyes :

This type of dye require stronger dyeing conditions (i.e. ph 2.5-3). The dye bath is set with:

10-20% Glaber's Salt
X% Conc. Sulphuric Acid (ph 2.5-3)
This class of dye stuffs gives excellent levelling and migration properties, therefore little dyeing control required. Some dyes in this class are dyed at ph 3.5-4.
