These are premetalised chromium complex soluble dyes. These dyes are mostly used in Wool piece dyeing. This class of dyes also gives excellent levelling & migration properties with easy dyeing control. The dye bath is set with :

5-10% G. Salt
X% Conc. Sulphuric Acid(ph 2-2.5)

Note : In both the above mentioned Dye types i.e. acid levelling & 1:1 Metal Complex Dyes one must ensure that through rinsing after dyeing is given inorder to remove all traces of acid. Liq. Ammonia (25%) can be used to nutralise the rinsing bath.
